Fluctuations in the price of tomatoes in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) are a major challenge for producers because they directly affect their income and income stability. This study aims to analyze producer-level price risk, calculate total producer income in NTT during 2023, and formulate government policy strategies and interventions to minimize tomato price risk. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis based on secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Province of NTT, which includes monthly price data and tomato production volume in 2023. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and lower price limit to measure price volatility. The results of the study show a coefficient of variation (CV) of 0.08, which means that the price risk faced by tomato producers is relatively low, with price fluctuations of only about 8% of the average price, so that the price after risk is Rp 8,868/kg. The total revenue earned by tomato producers in 2023 reached IDR 108.52 billion, although this does not include net income because the secondary data does not cover cost components. This study also emphasizes the importance of adaptive production and marketing management strategies to reduce price fluctuations. Recommended policies include strengthening farmer institutions through cooperatives, diversifying processed tomato products, and developing price stabilization policies through early price warning systems and improved marketing infrastructure. In addition, the promotion of export markets and the development of local branding are expected to reduce domestic price fluctuations and increase the competitiveness of NTT tomatoes in the international market.
