IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM POINT OF SALE (POS) UNTUK TATA KELOLA TRANSAKSI DAN MANAJEMEN PERSEDIAAN (STUDI KASUS TOKO MADURA)

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital infrastructure has triggered a shift in business management. Business entities are increasingly encouraged to abandon outdated methods and adopt digital solutions for their operational activities. Toko Madura in Sumberkolak, Situbondo, still relies on manual record-keeping, which can lead to errors in transaction recording and inventory tracking. seeks to create and implement a web-oriented Point of Sale (POS) information platform to assist the store owner in managing sales transactions and monitoring stock in an integrated and efficient manner. The system development follows the sequential waterfall model, encompassing requirements identification, modeling, coding, and concluding with black-box testing. The POS uses Laravel for its framework, PHP for development, and MySQL to manage its database. Test results indicate that all core functions such as sales recording, product data management, and periodic report generation operate in accordance with user requirements. The implementation of this POS system has been shown to improve data accuracy, speed up transaction processing, and simplify the preparation of sales reports at Toko Madura.
