The development of organic fertilizer technology continues to advance in order to achieve
optimal shallot production. The use of nano-technology organic fertilizer can help reduce the
dependence on chemical fertilizers, as its nano-sized particles enable faster nutrient
absorption and enhance nutrient retention within plant tissues, thereby minimizing nutrient
losses through volatilization or leaching. This study aimed to determine the optimum
concentration of nano-technology organic fertilizer that provides the best effect on the growth
and yield of Bima Brebes shallot (Allium cepa L).The experiment was conducted at the KO
Diklat Complex, Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency, West Java,
Indonesia, at an altitude of 701 meters above sea level. The experimental site receives an
average annual rainfall of 2,430.7 mm and is classified as Oldeman C3 rainfall type. The study
was carried out from March to July 2025.The research employed an experimental method
using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of six treatments and four
replications. The treatments consisted of different concentrations of nano-technology organic
fertilizer: A (0 mL L?¹), B (1 mL L?¹), C (2 mL L?¹), D (3 mL L?¹), E (4 mL L?¹), and F (5 mL
L?¹).The results showed that treatment F (5 mL L?¹) was the optimum concentration, producing
the highest growth and yield in most of the observed parameters, particularly fresh bulb weight
per clump and fresh bulb weight per plot, which are the primary indicators of shallot
productivity.
