The development of leading horticultural commodities is an important strategy to support region-based agricultural development. Sidoarjo Regency has a wide variety of horticultural commodities with different production levels across districts, making it necessary to identify leading commodities supported by comprehensive spatial information. This study aims to map leading horticultural commodities at the district level in Sidoarjo Regency using the Location Quotient (LQ) method integrated into a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS). The study used horticultural production data from 2021 to 2024 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Sidoarjo Regency. LQ analysis was applied to classify base and non-base commodities, while the results were visualized through thematic maps, tables, and interactive charts using a WebGIS platform developed with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The results indicate that shallots and melons are the leading horticultural commodities with the highest number of base districts, reflecting their comparative advantages compared to other commodities. In contrast, spinach, mustard greens, and water spinach show a more evenly distributed production across several districts, resulting in fewer base areas. The web-based GIS effectively presents spatial information in a clearer and more user-friendly manner than numerical data alone. Overall, the developed system can serve as an information medium and decision-support tool for local governments, agribusiness stakeholders, and the public in planning the sustainable development of leading horticultural commodities in Sidoarjo Regency.
