COMMUNITY PREPAREDNESS FOR LANDSLIDES IN BUMIWANGI VILLAGE CIPARAY DISTRICT BANDUNG REGENCY

Abstract

Bumiwangi is one of the villages located in the Ciparay District of Bandung Regency, which has a highland morphology in the form of hills that can increase the risk of landslides. Based on this, the researcher aims to identify the level of community knowledge and analyze preparedness for landslides in Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the level of community knowledge about landslides is high. This results in a very high level of community preparedness for landslides in Bumiwangi Village. Thus, there is a positive influence of community knowledge on preparedness for landslides in Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. This means that the higher the community's knowledge of landslides, the higher the community's preparedness in facing landslides.
